I know it's not Music Monday but last night the DJ was playing songs with their videos and these were some of my favorites.

Dom Kennedy was in San Francisco tonight and we made it to his show. We waited through all the headliners who were "okay" (one of them was some guy from a punk rock rap group that was cool when I was in high school. He kept begging everyone to make some noise and follow him on twitter.) We didn't really know how to get to the venue so we got lost and ended up almost taking the elevator with Dom himself. His entourage thought we were with them so they let us in. We asked them where the show was and they told us it was on the other side of where we were at.

Louis is a huge Dom Kennedy fan but he's in London right now so he couldn't make it. I told him I'd "blog the nuts off this show" for him. So here it goes.



Kennedy puts on a great show. He had everyone with their hands in the air singing along to every single track.



Rodney may look unapproachable but he's one of the nicest guys I've ever known. He's a lover not a fighter but he's also a fighter so don't get any ideas.



There's always a t-shirt stand at every one of these shows.



This guy was going around taking pictures of everyone all night. His friend got a little too drunk and kept bumping into me and two other guys. We almost knocked his teeth in but this dude came to his rescue and got him out of the way before it was too late.

I went out with the guys tonight and had dinner back at Barney's. I wanna thank my good friend Adrian for puttin me up on Solano in Albany and Guero, Efren and Daniel for joining me tonight.



You'll never catch Guero without Efren and vice versa. These guys made high school a living hell for me and the best four years of my life all at the same time. Funniest assholes I've ever known.



I know you guys probably think I'm morbidly obese because of all the food I'm always eating and posting on here but come on, let's be real, who else do you know eats Tomato Pesto medium rare burgers with basil leaves and a grilled red pepper? No one that's who.



According to the very camera shy Daniel, Barney's shakes may look ordinary but, "they winnin."



and then we sat outside for a while waiting for the food to digest and this guy lost it across the street.

Today was too cool. I started taking a class taught by one of the dopest artists I've ever met. That's right, thee Christian Fagerlund. Yes, THAT Christian.



The guy's a walking legend.



Im assuming we'll be drawing a lot of discarded Sears dummies and giant golf balls in class. YESSSS.



Feels good to be back in the classroom. Sitting on wooden horses. Drawing naked ladies.

I didn't want to give Blackberry free advertisement and you guys have probably already seen this, but here's today's Music Monday. You don't really get too much of the song but it's a great commercial and Alife's Jesse Villanueva reminds me of AJ.

The bare necessities (including ol faithful's replacement). I've been feeling really random when it comes this blog. I don't want this blog to be like any other and I'm still trying to think of way to unleash my creativity so from now on it's gonna get a bit funky and weird but bear with me folks we'll figure something out.

Even if I'm shooting with my phone's crappy .0001 megapixel camera my pictures are still RARE ART and MUST SEE's because I said they are.



Look at this guy. Its Joey Montana! Happiest guy I've ever known. He doesn't let anything get him down. Always greets everyone at the ol' Cinedome with a smile on his face. More people should be like this crazy eyed guy. I got real close with the camera so you'd get a better feel of who the man really is. I captured his essence per se.

Who says I have to post what I did?! No one that's who.

As you guys can probably tell I've been living like a hermit for the past week or so.

All these shrines to my sister are starting to get to me. I gotta get out the house. This is one of like 5 while the only picture we have of me is in my room and it's 16 years old.

I was at 7-Eleven earlier today and I saw this. I don't get how this is News. This is our problem America. See this? Cut it out.



This new lens makes everything I shoot automatically interesting. Even the artifacts at the busted old movie theater I work at.

Tonight my beat up old phone passed away.

You will be dearly missed ol' faithful. This phone has gone through some real harsh abuse and tonight it finally gave in to the beatings. I was gonna put this picture on some black t-shirts like they do when someone gets shot in the ghetto but I thought that'd be a bit much. She went peacefully which is good I guess. She just shut off and no matter how hard I tried charging her she never came back.

I've been on hiatus for a while. I guess you could say I've had bloggers block.

I realized I don't ever really write anything on here. Everyday I usually write a couple of zingers and post a few of the pictures I took that day. I haven't made the time to blog about anything for a few days because I haven't felt inspired. I fell in love with blogging about 4 years ago when I was a sophomore in high school. I had a blog called "A Day in The Life of Jorge," reeaaal original, I know. That one didn't work out and 3 years later I started La Pink One! The name came from what we call my friend Saul's house. Saul is Nefarious, and Nefarious' house is Pink. Sorry for disclosing that sensitive piece of information Nef.

I started this site with the idea of giving my peoples and people like me a voice on the Interwebs. I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm having a great time doing this shit!

I went to James Logan High School and graduated in '09.

I don't know what else to say. It was alright I guess.

I was over at Adrian's apartment tonight with AJ. I caught AJ taking a nap when he was supposed to be watching some extra footage I never posted up here. I guess that just goes to show why I didn't post it.



Adrian doesn't play when it comes to beer.



This has got to be the best Za Pleasanton has to offer. I took the liberty of turning tonight into the night I planned out my latest operation. I'm always up to something.



The pizza made AJ so happy he just started freestyling... about Weed. He goes on for like 5 minutes and he keeps saying "bring this shit" but it's still pretty good.

Last but not least, I shot this so girls could see what guys talk about when the ladies aren't around.

Some artsy fartsy wall I just shot like 20 minutes ago.

It looks like a balloon filled with paint hit it. The door must have messed with the wrong teenagers.

I'm a "Low key Mexican" so most of the time I'm at home looking for ways to entertain myself.

It took me forever to finish this much anticipated video but it's finally here. Steven introduced me to his good friend $howca$e. He's a rapper coming out of Fremont's Irvington District.

This is his story.

I never really introduced myself but I'm Jorge and I'm Mexican and my girlfriend Wendy is Cambodian. It's a great mix. We've learned a lot about each other's cultures and respect each other's customs and traditions.

I love going to Asian supermarkets with Wendy.

Wendy's Yay needed some fish so we went down to Oakland to drop it off.

The guy that lives in this building sells stolen/fake Social Security cards and Passports for my peoples with legality problems. BUT you didn't hear it from me.

Self-proclaimed manwhore and Devry honor roll student Louis Wong (@LouisWC) was in the building today. By "in the building" I mean he came over to my house.

If you guys don't recognize his handsome mug look very closely and you'll realize he's a young Keanu Reeves from "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." Adrian came up with that one.

So I went to the mall today and on my way there these polices had blocked off the streets in what seemed to be some kind of standoff/accident/Taliban Attack. All this excitement delayed our casual visit to the mall by a long while. Pissed me off.



Hey lady, sorry for putting your business out there but I hope you're alright. Who am I kidding you're not gonna see this! But if you do please don't sue. Oh and change your socks, they look grimey. Just kidding. Hope I don't go to hell for that joke.





I saw this Juggalo shirt at the mall and it reminded of Steven. Because he is a Juggalo. No he's not he's gonna wanna fight me when he reads this.
