There's a Teen Workshop down on Mission that our buddy Kelso works at. We went over there tonight after hours to check it out.

Great place for the kids of the neighborhood. Good way to stay out of trouble.

The bike shop looks like the set of a cheesy sitcom. Kinda cool if you ask me.

We actually went to the shop to pick up a Tandem Bike Kelso had for us. Coolest kind of bike.

There's the Huelga Bird because we're in Northern Cali (just in case you didn't know.)

Tis another one of those Music Mondays where I only post my favorite part of a song. This time it's Asher Roth's verse in "Enforce the Law."

Happy Memorial Monday.

I was watching Family Guy and during the commercial break this ad came on.

I don't shop at Pac Sun and there's no way in hell they paid me for this, I just think this commercial is beautifully put together. Let's have a great Summer California.

If you've ever been in a mall you've probably walked right past one of these. (Hopefully it was on when you saw it.)

They're ad monitors that the mall places strategically throughout the shopping center to brainwash kids into having premarital relations and abusing prescription medications, at least that's my theory. Our friend Tikal owns a company that specializes in audio and video and they work with the advertising companies that make you buy colorful jeans and shiny sneakers. I tagged along tonight and took some pictures.

Joe here is Tikal's right hand man with the plan who grinds down steel bolts like a badass.

I was trying to see if my shoes would catch on fire from the sparks but Nike makes a darn good fire retardant shoe.

Tikal isn't only one of the coolest entrepreneurs I know but he's also a fan of the blog. The world needs more guys like Tikal.

Rolled out with the gangsters today and did hoodrat things.

We got sandwiches and clam chowder. You know, hoodrat things.

We actually got together so we could go to school and handle boring college student buloni. Efren made this sign and I concur.

I made a Super-Bad style drawing of Rick Ross. You know it's dope.

This Music Monday goes out to Wendy.

Great song by Fly Union and Dom Kennedy.

Spent the day indoors today but I managed to go outside and shoot this a while before the sun set. Life can get so crazy nowadays, it's important to just stop and breathe sometimes before your next adventure. That's what I did today, I stopped just for a moment.

The weather was real nice today. It finally feels like Summer in the Bay.

Thursday, May 19, 2011

I came across a copy of "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" today.

Apparently the end of the end of the world is on Saturday so I'm gonna try to torrent and watch em all before then. Wish me luck.

They got TV's at my favorite Sushi spot, California Roll. The guy who owns the place said they did it for me because I was always complaining about how they didn't have any entertainment. True story.

I went with my entourage, Ivan and Efren.

After the grub we hit Sergio's pasta shop down the street for some Gelato.

These guys are gonna take over the movie industry with their ideas. I can honestly see these two coming up with the next hilarious tv show or movie, they're both hilarious.

I tried to steal as many movie ideas from these guys as I possibly could but they wouldn't budge. Efren kept eating his Gelato all sensually like he wanted me to take a picture so I did. "This one's for the ladies," he said.

I was watching that episode of American Dad where Stan became obsessed with My Morning Jacket. During the credits they played this song and I liked it.

Happy Monday.

Before I forget, check this out..

Karlo gets down.

Today I went to Blackfest at Stanford University. Blackfest is an annual festival/concert put on by The Black Community Services Center & The Stanford Concert Network. How do I know that? I read the flyer.

It was real cool to see a ton of young folks of all colors, shapes and sizes having a good time together.

Big Sean and Travis Porter performed. I didn't get any good pictures of them because I was busy enjoying the performances. Sorry! I managed to take this picture of a little girl lost in a sea of wasted, sweaty, college students. Pretty rad.

Here's my favorite Big Sean song in case you were wondering.

Our friend, Mr International, Louis came back from London yesterday. He works as a Keanu Reeves look alike at Sci-Fi conventions in the Matrix booth. Just kidding, he was studying abroad.

He brought us all back a little gift

and some fine Italian leathers. Bienvenido Sr. Louis. It's great to have you back.

Breakfast.

Music Monday. I love all the Creative Control visuals. Songs not too bad either.

The snack that smiles back. For the college student who's in such a big hurry they gotta eat their entire lunchables in one bite.

After checking the blogs traffic stats I realized about 15% of you guys don't live in the United States and I don't know if they have lunchables on your side of the planet so I made y'all this.

Sometimes I'm not too fond of an entire song but I like a part or parts of it. With that being said today's Music Monday goes to...

Aaand I'm back. The blog's been on Hiatus for about a week. I've actually just been really busy but that doesn't mean I forgot about my pride and joy.

There's not much to report on this end except we're getting some kind of tool shed/den/spare room built in our backyard. My Uncle, who also built Enzo's house, is building it. He drinks a ton while he's working on it but he's doing a really good job. He's gotta be the best drunk Carpenter ever.

Obama woke up from his nap to deliver the news.
