After an incredibly long and boring weekend it's finally Music Monday again and on top of that it's Halloween. If you read this blog and you still trick or treat be safe tonight and don't eat any of that weird foreign candy your neighbors hand out.

Bump this on your way to wherever it is you're going and support good Bay Area music.

Instagram made everyone a photographer. The folks I follow have made pretty cool "interpretations" of things through their instagrams.

Here's my interpretation of some healthy "rabbit food":

Rob Heppler's interpretation of gettin' it:

AJ's interpretation of how creepy Bob Ross is/was:

13 Witness' interpretation of the Subway:

Shouts out to Enzo for being handsome.

Here's the video Erk tha Jerk shot at our theater about a month ago. Check it out.

I went to the Pumpkin Patch in Fremont today. I was leaving the place with my pumpkin and I asked myself what do pumpkins have to do with Halloween? Even though the pumpkin doesn't have anything to do with the day whenever you see one you think Halloween. I guess that sort of applies to the blog and the ham logo. Last friday when I put the logo up everyone was asking "why ham?" and I said why not? I love ham. It's delicious and as a logo it looks cool. The bone on the side of the ham doesn't even make sense hams don't have bones sticking out ham hocks do, but that doesn't matter because it just looks cool and there's nothing wrong with that.

Now here's some pumpkins.

These fallen pumpkins aren't gonna make it to Halloween this year. Lets have a moment of silence for them.

When I was leaving I found a jack-o-latern that looked just like your mom.

Just kidding, this one looks like your mom.

I can't get over these Fall sunsets. You get all the beauty without the annoying heat from a Summer sunset.

Meet Dingus, my juggalo hillbilly jack o lantern.

Mousi stopped by the house today in his orange Honda to drop off one of his colorful creations.

He's in the Tie Dye game, he makes shirts, vans, underwear, anything. You name it, he'll make it. Except Chucks he only makes those for himself (because he's in Gaylor Tang). I asked him to make me a shirt using black and orange so I could wear it on Halloween. This year I'm gonna be my favorite kind of hippie, a dead one!

He delivers.

I saw some writing under his hat and I asked him what it meant. He said it means "Micheal's House's Swag Team Keeps It Lit." That's the crew he's in. What do they do? More like what DON'T they do?

Thanks Mousi, stay crazy. (He got the nickname Mousi when we were in high school because he looks like a mouse.)

This Music Monday Warren G takes the cake. Remember Warren G?

Benny Gold's new season came out today and I rolled over there to get myself a piece of the action. I don't even like wearing tees with designs on them but I make an exception for San Francisco's very own Benny Gold.

Friendliest guys in the streetwear business.

Levi came out and said, "Sup."

This crewneck with Benny Gold's signature paper planes incorporated into snowflakes reminds me of Christmas.

Benny Gold did a collab with Jeff Staple and it's as if the pigeon knew this so he flew into the store while we were there. It was almost like some sort of sign.

He bumped himself in the face a bunch of times before finally making his escape.

With the help of my amazing family, friends, and you, the readers, this blog has grown to what it is today. A couple of months ago I realized that in order to take this project to the next level I needed to get a mark that would help make it more recognizable. When I was choosing a designer for the logo I knew I had to pick someone I could really trust with the project since the blog is like our child you can't just trust anyone with your child! (Bad parents take the hint.) After looking at Vanessa No Heart's work I realized she was the perfect candidate. Thanks for bringing my vision to life Vanessa. If you other designers wonder why I picked her over you go look at her work HERE.

I'd like to officially (and finally) announce La Pink One's new logo. The Ham that'll lead us to victory! (I don't know why I wrote that since we're not a sports team, I guess it just sounded good in my head.)

A Paris Baguette opened up on my side of the bay and I stopped by tonight to get my french pastry on.

If you ever find yourself here I recommend any one of these. The Waffle, the Danish or the Twisted Doughnut. End of story.

The place looks great. It's gonna replace Starbucks as the place artsy writers go to with their laptops to write screenplays and novels.

It's 4 am and I'm in my backyard with my friend Hockmed. Don't bother him, he's working.

"I can't wait to see the final product."

and the end result looks like this. I don't know what it says but I like it. Maybe I do know what it says and I just want you guys to figure it out. Either way thanks Hockmed it's gonna look great in my room.

Stalley's Music Monday.

Saturday night I was at the Piedmont movie theater for a very special event.

By the size of the line you can obviously tell it was a pretty big deal,

and by the url on the Hummer you can probably tell what the big deal was.

You guessed it, it was a screening of the best worst movie ever made The Room. When I say the best worst I don't mean best and worst I just mean it's so awful it's good. If you haven't seen the movie you probably don't understand what I mean but if you're one of the world's natural born winners you've watched it and you're probably sitting on a pile of money right now somewhere in the South of France waiting for your supermodel girlfriend to finish getting ready so you can go out for ride on your yacht or something along those lines.

Oh, hi Mark.

Aspiring Vampire/Director Tommy Wiseau. He saw AJ with his Johnny bobble head and his football and walked up to him and said, "Oh wow, you've got everythin" in that funny accent of his.

We were the coolest dudes there after that.

Gotta have the spoons.

AJ tried to pick up girls using his bobble head. I heard one of them say "He's cute but he looks like a hipster with that lazy beanie on."

This girl gave us party horns so we could use them during the party scene of the movie when all the craziness goes down.

Ratatouille over here was pretty excited about those party horns.

Once the movie came on the party started. People were throwing spoons, yelling at the screen, pointing out the mistakes and throwing footballs around. I recommend going to one these screenings if you like The Room.

Sometimes I just feel like getting in touch with my artsy side. I have an idea for a painting I want to make. Wish me luck world.

We'll see how this goes.

Occupy Wall Street set off a whole bunch of Occupy (place name of American city here) all over the place. I was leaving Oakland and I drove by all the action and it seemed pretty peaceful. These news vans were blocking my view of the city hall so I couldn't see the hippies. I know you're not hippies, you're working class people who are fed up with the government and I'm just joking,

but you all have really nice tents, hippies.

You should have done this kind of protesting when the Oscar Grant thing happened. Instead of all the destruction and rioting nonsense.

I'm not great when it comes to politics but if there's someone who knows what he's talking about it's Immortal Technique in this really long video.

The Home of Chicken and Waffles in Oakland is always good to me and it's in a such a good spot in Jack London Square.

Chicken and Waffles is one of the greatest things black people ever came up with, that and all that great music. Thank you black people. Looking at this reminds me that all I do is eat. In your face starving people of the third world, just kidding I take that back.

October only means one thing.. All Hallows Eve.

When I was a kid I thought Halloween was the coolest excuse of a holiday there was. I thought there was no point to it other than dressing up and getting free candy but then I grew up and got all cynical and now I think it's nothing more than a corporate scheme. I still think it's hella fun though. Ever since I can remember my mom would take my sister and I to Spirit after school whenever Halloween came around. We rarely bought anything, we just had a bunch of fun looking at all the creepy crap they sell.

Little known fact: Wendy was in The Lazy Song video.

These guys.

Damn yo, a rat ate you son.

It's hard not to have fun when you're surrounded by all this stuff. These girls were running around the store trying different hats and masks on, they were having the time of their life.

It looks like the good book,

but the only thing it's good for is getting hammered in church.
