After we put out those White Zinfandel shorts out I got a lot of feedback. Almost everyone agrees that White Zinfandel is great but not a lot of people understood what each clip meant. Even though they all seemed random each one had a specific idea behind it. La Pink One isn't a professional ad agency so we aren't experts on sending messages through 30 second clips but we gave it a shot.

The first Drink White Zinfandel clip we shot was supposed to emulate the way people drink Lean. We didn't do it because we wanted to act like we were drinking cough syrup mixed with sprite but because (in street culture) the styrofoam cup has become strictly associated with Lean and we wanted to challenge that by turning it into the type of cup that cats drink White Zinfandel in.

This clip was supposed to emphasize the idea that White Zinfandel is so cheap you can break bottles of it left and right and it doesn't matter (because it only costs 4 dollars.)

This one is supposed to make you thirsty. I don't know if it worked on you guys but it makes me thirsty every time I watch it.

This one was supposed to make artsy people say something like "Ohhh I get it," even though it makes no sense and we had ran out of ideas by the fourth week.

Everyone's always telling me that Black Scale's SF shop is a must see. The other day while I was in the city I stopped by for the first time to see the streetwear brand ASAP Rocky seems to swear by.

On the second floor.

A lot of great stuff in this store. It lives up to the hype.

Flyest tees in the shop.

These guys look like they just witnessed a crazy car crash.

Yesterday I met Rob Heppler, the world renowned Writer/Streetwear Connoisseur/Footwear Designer and Blogger. (@hepdog)

About a year ago Rob and I found each other on Twitter. We started going back and forth through direct messages and mentions about random stuff. He was in town yesterday picking up a Porsche 911 Turbo that the owner of Fatlace gave him and we used that as an opportunity to meet up in person. He's one of my biggest influences. He's the reason I turn random words in my posts into links that lead to funny or weird stuff that I find on the internet. I borrowed the idea from him.

We all have people we look up to. Most people look up to celebrities or athletes or even recording artists. I look up to self made guys like Rob. What exactly does he do? The fact that he keeps us wondering is what makes him such an alluring character. Easily one of the coolest guys I've ever met.

That's why he gets to drive around in this.

"You gotta get a picture of the back, the back's the best part."

It's hard to not look like a boss sitting in the 911 Turbo even when caught completely off guard.

One of the most valuable lessons I learned today is that you gotta have your own signature pose. This is Rob's buddy's pose.

Thanks for the free stuff Rob. I'm not taking it out of the bags until these pieces are worth at least ten times what they're worth now. Just kidding I'm wearing the shirt as I type this.

Now that Christmas is over the Bay Bridge is foggier than ever and all the magic is gone.

Adrian took a walk and gathered his thoughts.

I walked by Fenton's and saw this beat up old hearse parked in front.

I wonder what group of punk rock kids drive this.

Happy Music Monday, I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Now listen to Fly Union and enjoy:

I hopped on 880 and headed North to celebrate Christmas in Oakland with the family. We were right off International Blvd. The Hood.

I don't think I've ever been to a Mexican party that didn't have a grill set up with some taco meat on it. I love how we celebrate the holidays. It's simple and it reminds us all of home. I felt like I was at my grandma's house in Michoacán tonight and no matter where I go in life I'll never leave these traditions behind, they make me who I am.

I love being Mexican, and you should love being whatever you are too.

I can't say I had a bad Christmas with this kind of food on my plate.

Brightest house on the block.

Happy Friday and Season's Greetings. Check out the freshest ornament on our tree,

and to whoever left this by my car: Wasting food's not cool man. You could have saved it in the fridge for later.

These are my sister's friends, Cassandra and Gurpreet. Cassandra has a cool photography blog called CGM Photo and Gurpreet has a vintage clothing blog called The Sixth. Bloggers.

They asked to be on the blog and I told them that people don't just appear on the blog (even though they do) and if they wanted to be on here they had to bribe me with something. I asked them for mochi with fresh strawberries inside and they failed and got me mochi with red bean filling (gross).

But, they tried so I'll put em on here anyways.

This is the mochi they brought. I wouldn't even give it to a homeless person out of fear that they might throw up the little food they have in their homeless person stomache.

I got my hands on this Oakland Tribune newspaper from October 20th, 1947.

It's not in mint condition but come on, it was made decades before our parents were even born. It's in pretty good shape considering how old it is. The Oakland Tribune doesn't even exist anymore. I wonder how much this is worth?

I couldn't help but notice all the different fonts they used in this thing. Helvetica wasn't created until 1957 so until then newspapers, magazines and postcards would all be covered in this cheesy font and fonts like it.

This exact font reminds me of THIS.

Crazy how cheap things were back in 1947, and crazy how ads looked like back then. Crazy how crazy this is. Crazy.

I was at my friend Nef's house today to trade some stickers with him. He showed me some of his new stuff and I gotta say, everything he does gets better. Nef's all about progress, hard work, positivity, and weed. Lots and lots of weed,

and now he's even getting into photography.

Most of his pictures are double exposures of weed and things he uses to smoke weed. I like the concept.

"This is a picture of some weed on my mpd."

I always pick songs for music mondays based on how much I like the song as well as the music video for that song. This week I decided to pick three songs I wished they'd make a visual for, and I decided to quote my favorite line from each song.

"You didn't always want me girl, and I remember."

"When I die I hope to be a better man than you thought I'd beeeee." (I want this played at my funeral.)

"On the road to the riches there's a whole grip of n*ggas that'll wreck their cars and want rides."

Random glimpses.

White house in the backyard at my parent's house.

This sign made me think of Golf Wang, and miniature golf of course.

Look at this gorilla's butt. I wonder how accurate that is.

Happy Birthday Wendy!

If you guys care about La Pink One as much as La Pink One cares about you watch this video about internet censorship. If you'd like to help you can do your part by clicking this link and doing what the page asks. If not for us then do it for any other website you enjoy or do it for yourself because this affects us all.

Thank you.

We shot the last "Drink White Zinfandel" moving picture tonight. I hope we did our favorite cheap wine justice with this campaign. I want to thank everyone who helped make these happen, I couldn't have done it without you guys.

Needless to say, things got a little.. burnt and caution taped.

I rewarded myself for a job well done with a McFlurry Nestle brand "Blenderz" frozen dessert. This is new and I know that because I'm at 7 Eleven every day spending way too much money on junk food and beer.

It's a make your own mcflurry machine at 7eleven. 2012 here we come.

Tastes waaay better than it looks.

I was in Pleasanton today and I stopped by their legendary philly cheesesteak shop to get my philly cheesesteak fix. I know they're all over the bay but I call this one legendary because every other location I've been to wasn't so great.

Peppers on peppers on peppers.

I gotta say this is the first time the actual food looked better than the picture.

The third installment of the Drink White Zinfandel campaign.

A couple weeks ago I said I'd prove you don't need an expensive camera to take good pictures. I went and got disposable cameras and started shooting random stuff like I usually do. I just got the pictures today from the 1 hr photo place and I have to admit shooting on film has its disadvantages. For one, you can't see what the pictures you took look like until they're developed. That means most of them might not come out the way you want them to. Anyways, here's my top four.

Everyone looks right past the graffiti, but I don't. I see everything, Voila.

This one's crazy because that sign has been there since the 80's and disposable cameras were really popular back then. It looks like I took this picture twenty something years ago but it was last week.

I don't remember taking this one but it looks like a part of the time machine I used to go back in time and take these pictures.

When I saw this huge hole I couldn't help but think somebody's had to have dumped a body in there before. There's no way no one has ever used this deep hole to dispose their dead bodies or naked pictures of Whoopi Goldberg that nobody wants.

Happy Music Monday. This is my favorite part of Kanye West's "Runaway." I don't like when Nicki Minaj talks in a fake British accent at the beginning and the rest of the video is great but this is immaculate.

That MTX he's riding in makes this video even more dope. Only 5 of them exist. Whoa.

Levi Maestro is one of my biggest influences. When I found him on vimeo I instantly became addicted to his show. Now that he's almost a celebrity his episodes feature the hottest folks in the country and he does collaborations with all the coolest everythings everywhere.

Before all of that happened he would showcase the coolest people in LA, and one of my favorite Maestro Knows episodes is the one where he hung out with the guys from Gourmet. So much style in this one episode.

My friend Louis is in town from San Francisco and yesterday I caught up with the local legend and we discussed some blog business. Sometimes I look at Louis as my unofficial publicist. He's always shooting me ideas and helping me spread the word about the blog. He's a business minded guy.

Carne Asada fries bring people together.

Louis is always chasing skirts and skirts are always chasing Louis. His phone's filled with texts of girls who nonchalantly throw themselves at him. Lucky bastard.

Louis told me that when he becomes a stand in for gay porn he'll bring me along as his photographer. I kindly said thanks but no thanks. Just kidding that was a lie but isn't it totally believable?

Yesterday's soundtrack.
