SHAVED ICE

A couple of Summers ago frozen yogurt seemed like the coolest dessert in the world. Pinkberry was a valuable commodity and if you were lucky enough to live by one you spent at least two days a week there and acted like you were on The Hills. If you didn't then you were missing out, or at least that's how everyone on the internet made it seem. Today frozen yogurt is old news.

This Summer it's all about Shaved Ice.

The consistency is pretty cool. It doesn't get all watery and warm, it stays frozen like that. It's like eating cold chocolate shavings with fruit and stuff. I can see why this is catching on so fast.

It seems like there's a ton of it on the plate but there isn't, it's just really thin and airy and the shavings are all stacked up on top of each other. Good way to trick yourself into believing you had a huge dessert.

These white balls explode with mango flavor. PAUSE.
