We talk about Mexico a lot. She's from the city. Most of the Mexicans in the United States are from a rural background where people have very little. They come here for a better life but she's here on vacation.
Lety has a college education and a career in Nutrition in Mexico. She shows me pictures of her travels and tells me about what life is like for young people there. It's very similar to our life here. She serves as a case study for me. Before I talked to Lety, all of the gruesome beheading videos on the internet had me under the impression that the entire country had gone mad. I was wrong.
