I was watching something on TV about people's path to success. 2 Chainz was on and he was telling his story. Remember that song he did with Lil Wayne, "Duffle Bag Boy"? He said he remembers doing that song and getting a little taste of success and thinking to himself: "it still isn't my time" and he was right, it wasn't. As soon as that song got old 2 Chainz fell back into obscurity.
Today he's on top of the game. He said that in between the Duffle Bag Boy period and now, he's faced a ton of obstacles and he's worked through them. I remember him saying "I got a hundred noes before I got one yes" and I know how that feels but I never let it slow me down. If you're reading this right now and you feel like giving up because it seems as if everyone is saying no to your idea or your project don't let it stop you. It doesn't mean it's not gonna happen it's just not your time yet.
